2023-2024 Shiner FFA Officer Team
Chelsea Whiddon- President:
Hey Y’all, my name is Chelsea Elizabeth Whiddon and I am serving as the Shiner FFA Chapter President this year. A little about me; My parents' names are Kelly & Jason Whiddon, and my favorite animal is a RedBone Hound. My advice for y’all as FFA members is to apply yourself and get as involved as you possibly can. You will meet so many people and make so many memories. This year I plan to compete in the Public Relations LDE and Ag Mech CDE. The reason I love FFA is because of the atmosphere and the many different people. Something I would like to let yall know is that everyone is welcomed to the organization. My favorite FFA event I have ever attended was the State Convention 2022. This year I am looking forward to competing in contests and growing as FFA members with my fellow officers. Have a great year!
Emma Tronicek - Vice President:
Hey Shiner! My name is Emma Josephine Tronicek and I’m so excited to serve yall as the Shiner FFA Chapter Secretary this year! My parents' names are Rusty & Shannon Tronicek, and my favorite animal is my show steer, Jack. My advice for our FFA members this year is to find and get involved in a CDE/LDE or SAE you truly want to invest time in. Don’t be scared of failure because Ms. Moye and the rest of us have your back! This year my LDE is Livestock Judging, and I’m so excited to start! The reason I love FFA is because it’s the only organization I click with. I feel as if I fit in and the people around me are my people. FFA has expanded my horizons and opened my eyes to a whole new world of opportunities. Something I would like people to know about FFA is that there is always somewhere for you. Just because you don't show doesn’t mean FFA isn't for you. We can find something you will love within the organization. My favorite FFA Event was the State Convention in 2022! Im looking forward to showing my steer and being proud of myself inside the Arena!
Erin Pustka- Secretary:
Callie Sevcik - Reporter:
Hello Comanches, my name is Callie Elizabeth Sevcik and I am serving yall as the Shiner FFA Chapter Reporter this year! My parents' names are Ryan and Amye Sevcik, I show Broilers at the annual stock show, but my favorite animal is a Brahma. My advice to y’all as fellow members is to dream and achieve. The FFA organization constantly pushes their members to continue to learn something about everything they go through. If you believe you can achieve it, go get it! This year I plan to participate in Floriculture as my CDE. I love FFA because I feel more involved with the community and the people inside of it. Something I would like everyone to know about FFA is that the organization itself builds character, promotes citizenship, and patriotism. My favorite FFA event I have ever attended was the officer splashway team bonding retreat.
Chase Malinovsky - Treasurer:
Barrett Shelton- Sentinel:
Kenzie Peebles - Historian:
Howdy!! My name is Makenzie Renee Peebles and I am so excited to serve as the Shiner FFA Chapter historian! My parents' names are Natalie and Kenny Cowan, and my favorite animal is an elephant! My advice to the members of our chapter is to get involved and don't be afraid to try new things you don't know anything about. This year my LDE I will participate on the Public Relations team. My CDE I plan to participate in Livestock Judging! The reason I love FFA is it prepares you for your future outside of just animals, you can learn so many life skills that could help you in the future. Something I would like FFA members to know about FFA is that it has so many different activities you can be a part of! My favorite FFA event I have been to so far is the State Convention 2022! This year I am looking forward to our annual stock show, AGvocating, and helping people become more involved in FFA
